I Can't keep the tags when coverting to mp3 but that'll be me, there will be a way. As for the music, it's beautiful.

Question from someone more technically-challenged (all i know how to do is DL basic mp3 stuff via right clicking, etc.)

Is this a bit torrent deal? Or can I DL as I would a simple mp3 file? What are the sound advantages to this version?

I ask b/c this is my all-time favorite GD show as everyone here at the LMA already knows. Wouldbe greatly interested in best-sounding copy possible.

Lossless files such as these are the best sounding possible(even my wife can tell the difference !?!). I`m sure if you look on the web someone can explain how they compress mp3s alot clearer than I can. So download this show, just click where it says download, and enjoy.
ps If you`re using iTunes or windows media player the songs won`t play. Download one of these instead.

Just left click on the "Download" button & tell your download manager where to save the file.
The lossless files will be considerably bigger than mp3 files, the sound quality may be marginally better depending on your gear and listening environment.
Other than not wanting to loose any audio that is permanently eliminated when converting to mp3, the key reason for lossless is flexebiltiy. I can make CDs for friends and know if they rip the CD it won't sound like crap, transcode to mp3 for an ipod or data disc for the car. I've always got the original to go back to. When all you've got is an mp3 you pretty much have to leave it as is or you risk seriously degrading the audio.

If you convert flac >wav before you make your mp3s, the tags will be stripped off. Wav files carry no headers, thus no tags. If you can transcode directly to mp3 the data should transfer directly to the id3 tags. I use winamp pro and am not sure all else that is available.
